* Return all used bottles to be recycled, .10$ a bottle. If you have a couple parties a year, you could save 6$/Yr. (It depends though.)
* Buy fresh food rather then frozen, fresh food takes less amount of energy to prepare. It may cost more up front but it is better for you.
* Eat less meat, it's expensive. Cutting out 10$'s worth every month will save you 120$/Yr.
* Seal all cracks where hot air can escape from your home. Properly insulating your home can save you anywhere from 100-400$/Yr.
* Use coupons on as many items as you can. Remember though, if you weren't planning on buying it before you had the coupon, then your not really saving any money. Could save you 70$/Yr.
*Run your appliances at night. Some companies charge less for electricity, as there is less demand at night. It depends on your energy provider. The savings depend on what your using.
*Make your meals at home other then going out. It's a lot cheaper, and probably a lot healthier. Cut down on the restaurant and fast foods. This could save you 50$/Yr.
*Reuse plastic water bottles. A pack of 24 can run up to 5$ or more and for families who depend on bottle water because of sanitary issues with their current water, this bill can be quite high at times. Consider getting a water cleaner/filter, it will save you money if your buying bottle water. Possible savings by reusing bottled water 40$/Yr.
*Consider buying clothing at second hand stories, rather then designer boutiques. How long do you really think hat nice new Gucci T-shirt is going to last? Save your money and buy second hand. Possible savings of 80$/Yr.
Total Savings : 616$/Yr.

Hanging clothes to dry, either on a line or drying rack, will save money! The dryer is not an efficient product (ask your energy company). I am close to unplugging my dryer for good since I have clotheslines in my basement and can do 1-2 loads on them (also 2 drying racks).
